2 day Southern Flinders Ranges Tour
ITINERARY
DAY 1:
Depart Adelaide at approximately 7:00am for Port Augusta via Port Pirie, Port Germein and Port Augusta where we explore the Flinders Ranges and outback. Take an optional tour in Wadlata Outback Centre’s Tunnel of Time, where you discover its origins, Aboriginal Dreaming and much more.
After lunch we head into the Southern Flinders Ranges where we visit the quaint townships of Wilmington and Melrose. At Melrose we take a short bushwalk into the Mount Remarkable National Park. The 1500 km long Heyson Trail passes by Melrose. We will stay overnight at the Mount Remarkable Hotel/Motel.
DAY 2:
After breakfast we head for Orroroo where we will see a magnificent 900 year old River Red Gum. It is South Australia’s largest River Red Gum measuring 10 metres around.
If you enjoy pristine untouched Australia, away from the tourist crowd, you will enjoy this tour. After enjoying the serenity of the ranges we head to Adelaide via the picturesque Clare Valley wine making region where we can sample local wines (time permitting) arriving at approximately 6:00 pm.

COST PER PERSON: $1150:00 (including GST) minimum 2 passengers
TOUR INCLUDES: Morning and afternoon tea, accommodation (twin share), dinner on day 1
NOT INCLUDED: Lunches, optional tours and mobile phone calls
